Today, Indian Railways created a history when Prime Minister Narendra Modi has showed a green flag to an engine-less train named Train 18 or Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi railway station. Vande Bharat Express attained the speed of over 180 kmph during its trials but it is designed for a maximum operational speed of 160 kmph. This train will run from Delhi to Varanasi from February 17, 2019 and its booking has been opened.

The vande Bharat Express will run five days in a week except Monday and Thursday. It will take 8 hrs to reach Varanasi from Delhi. At its inauguration run, the PM Modi himself inspected the Train 18 or Vande Bharat Express at the New Delhi Railway station and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal boarded in the train.

The boarding passengers of this train will get palatable dishes from high-end brands like Pind Balluchi, Chaayos, Landmark Hotel and Nescafe along with morning tea, evening tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
