A latest latest study by Kansas University has established a direct link between E cigarette use and emotional problems such as anxiety and depression. Apart from emotional problems the study claims that E Cigarette use increases the likelihood of medical conditions such as coronary artery disease by 10% and blood clots by 44%.
Describing the findings of the research as a wake up call the lead author of the study Dr Mahender Vindhyal called for prompt awareness campaigns about the health risks posed by E cigarettes. Dr Vindhyal conseded that traditional tobacco smoking was more dangerous than E Cigarettes but underlined that the letter is in no way safe. He explained that e cigarettes contain nicotine and release toxic compounds similar to cigarette smoking . Nicotine quickens heart rate and raises blood pressure.
