Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla conveyed an all party meeting as a preparation for winter session of parliament, the winter session is scheduled to start from November 18 onwards onwards, it would conclude on December 13. The aim of the meeting was to ensure cooperation of all parties in order to ensure smooth functioning of parliament in the upcoming session. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narender Modi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Patel, senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, TMC leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay DMK leader TR Balu among others. Rajya Sabha chairman M venkaiah Naidu would also convey an all party meeting tomorrow in view of the winter session of of parliament.
